KAYAKING THE SEA OF CORTEZ

*   Kayaking this beautiful and varied coastline allows you to explore hidden coves, pristine beaches and snorkel among indigenous tropical fish. Once in camp, enjoy relaxation with a delicious meal and good company. At night, as you drift off to sleep under a star-studded sky, you may hear the sonorous breathing of great whales just offshore.

*   Big Banana Adventures are OUTFITTERS. Participants are invited to take part in all aspects of the adventure, including trip planning, navigation and meal preparation. We describe ourselves as 'outfitters', and our primary role is to outfit your trip, reduce your risk, look after navigation and support, and enrich your experience. Our guides have spent many seasons exploring the wilderness of Baja, Costa Rica, and Panama. Guides are trained, to handle a range of experience levels from beginners to advanced paddlers. Our goal is to empower you through experience and exposure, enabling you to leave with new skills gained through adventure-based learning.

        5 Days Instruction and Kayak Touring

 

        This course held in Baja’s Sea of Cortez is designed for novice and beginning paddlers. We'll focus on awareness, judgment,

        risk assessment and fundamental paddling skills while we hone rescue skills. This course is designed for those who paddle (or want to paddle) in

        an expedition environment and still have fun along the way. We'll discuss and practice techniques and as they arise.

 

        Instructor to student ratio: 1:4. Maximum group size is 4.
